Today I was able to get another page written on my paper. I am finding that I will probably need to do some more research in order to have the correct length, but I am not worried about finding that information. I went to the library tonight and found a print source so I will be able to get some more information from that. Also, I asked a few more people about their feelings on year round school to see how people in general feel about it. Tomorrow I will work more on writing the paper and hopefully be at three and a half pages by tomorrow night so I can edit Thursday night.

It sounds like you are getting ahead with your paper. Going to the library to find a non print source is a very good idea. I also really like your topic. Year round classes seem to be a good idea and i am interested in knowing more about the topic.
Ya it sounds like your doing well and I am interested to hear what teachers in our school have to say about year round school. I guess it is kinda surprising how almost no schools are year round, for some reason having that big break in summer is just a normal thing
Congratulations on going to the library, I don't think enough kids actually have the initiative to do that... I also like your idea of asking other people about it, just to get a feel for the general opinion. I tried doing that with my paper, but people got too worked up over it...

Erin, you sound like you have a really strong start. I know you were asking some people in Etymology yesterday and I think the more opinions you hear the better your argument will ultimately be. Going to the library was also smart of you, personally I am struggling with finding non electronic sources, so maybe I will have to go as well. Im anxious to hear what you overall opinion becomes, because personally I can't decide on one side without wanting to include parts of the opposition.
You sound like you are having a good start to your paper, which is really good. I know when you interviewed me I said no to year-around schools, but now that I have read a little bit more about them, I change my opinion to yes. Have you asked people besides students on their opinion? I would be interested to see what teachers said about year around schools.

Erin it sounds like you are an extremely organized person, which is good when it comes to AP English and all classes for that matter. I can tell you have a clear and laid out plan on how to approach and write this paper! A+ for organization! How did you enjoy the library by the way? See, I personally enjoy going to the library. Libraries are just sorta amazing!
